Lightning struck a house in Tovuz yesterday.

APA's local bureau reports that the incident was recorded in the second block of Eldaniz Guliyev Street.

After heavy rains, lightning struck the house belonging to Elnur Bagirov, a resident of the region.

As a result of lightning, the roof of the house caught fire.

Two fire engines and 15 personnel of the Tovuz Fire Department of the Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately called to the area.

The fire was extinguished and other parts of the house were protected from fire.

An ambulance was also called to the area.

No one was injured in the incident, as no one was at home.
