TASS reports that Lukashenko asked Putin to help with a "mirror response" to the flights of NATO aircraft with nuclear weapons near the borders of Belarus.

Putin allegedly replied that there was no need for such a "mirror answer" yet.

During the meeting, Lukashenko said that Belarus was concerned about the "confrontational policy" of Poland and Lithuania.

He compared the restriction of transit to the Kaliningrad region with the "declaration of war."

Lukashenko also said it was "vital" for him to discuss defense issues with Putin.
