Two people were killed and several were injured in a shooting at a nightclub in the Norwegian capital Oslo, police said, quoted by world agencies.

One suspect was detained shortly after the shooting, near the scene.

According to police, the situation is still being clarified.

The Aftenposten newspaper reported that at least 10 people were receiving medical care and at least 3 were seriously injured.

Another 12 were slightly injured.

The incident took place at a London pub, a gay club in central Oslo.
