In January-May this year, 89,452,000 barrels of oil were transported through Turkey via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, which is 6.3% more than a year earlier.

APA-Economics reports quoting BOTAS, a Turkish pipeline operator, that 84,185,000 barrels of oil were transported through Turkey via the BTC pipeline in the same period last year.

It should be noted that 200,149,000 barrels of oil were transported through Turkey via the BTC pipeline last year, which is 2.8% less than a year earlier.

It should be noted that oil produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fields in Azerbaijan is imported via the BTC pipeline.

In addition, oil from other producers is sent to Turkey via the pipeline.
