The Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Mustafa Shentop spoke about the importance of the Zangazur corridor at the 11th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic States (TDPA).

APA reports quoting Anadolu Agency that speaking at the plenary session in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, Mustafa Shentop said that Turkish states should establish closer ties with Azerbaijan-Nakhchivan corridors through East-West Transport and the Caspian Sea. it is necessary.

He noted that this will prevent the rise of our countries as trade, transport and production centers, and will bring our countries closer together.

Saying that Turkish states have great potential in many areas, Mustafa Şentop stressed that there are more steps to be taken in trade, economy, health, education, culture, tourism, defense industry and other areas.

The Speaker of the Parliament said that the chairmanship of the TDPA passed from the Kyrgyz Republic to Kazakhstan and wished the Speaker of the Kazakh Parliament success in the chairmanship of the TDPA.
