Les Républicains proposes to reduce taxes and excise duties on fuels to lower the price to 1.50 euros / liter.

At a current price of 2.09 euros and 2.14 euros, respectively for gasoline and diesel, this is a reduction of about 0.60 euros / liter.

Rassemblement National offers a VAT reduction of 20% to 5% for fuels.

At current prices, this would be a reduction of about 0.31 euros / liter.

The Socialists offer a minimum pension of 1,500 euros / month.

France is the country with the lowest inflation in the EU, but they are taking measures there as well, because inflation is heavy for the population there as well.

I very much hope that in our last days our parliament will not fail to update the budget.

Most of the EU, incl.

the three largest economies, Germany, France and Italy, continue to buy Russian gas to fill their storage facilities.

We are making some partial purchases of American gas, which barely cover 25% of our July needs, let alone pumping up storage.

And the rest we will buy at spot prices from stock exchanges at prices higher than Russian gas.

The price is more inflation and more money coming out of our pockets as consumers.

If there is an anti-inflation measure, lowering the prices of energy products is the first of them.
