The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Albania, Sali Berisha, spoke today about the statements of Prime Minister Edi Rama on Bulgaria at the EU summit, as well as about the reaction of the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry today.

In a communication with journalists, Berisha said that Bulgaria is a friendly country and has always been Albania's lawyer.

"Bulgaria has in its archives hundreds of friendly decisions with Albanians.

"Shame to cover Edi Rama, that a friendly country shows shame, as an ordinary", said Berisha.

Berisha also recalled that Bulgaria joined NATO in the battle against Serbia in Kosovo.

"Bulgaria is a friendly country and every Albanian government has found in that government only friends.

Bulgaria joined NATO in the battle against Serbia in Kosovo.

Bulgaria has always been Albania's lawyer and Vucic's vassal comes out to shame that country.

"I apologize to the Bulgarian people on behalf of the Democratic Party and I guarantee it that this is not the opinion of the Albanians," Berisha said.

Berisha reiterated his call for a protest in Tirana on July 7th against the government and the Open Balkans.
