The annual ranking is the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) - an analytical division of the British magazine The Economist.

Vienna previously topped the list in 2018 and 2019.

Stable conditions, good infrastructure and healthcare system, as well as many opportunities in the field of culture and leisure make Vienna so attractive.

According to the EIU rankings, the second most convenient city is the Danish capital Copenhagen, and in third place - the Swiss city of Zurich.

Earlier, in December 2021, the Israeli metropolis of Tel Aviv was recognized as the most expensive city in the world by the EIU study, which compared the cost of living in 173 cities on the planet.

The second place in this ranking was shared by Paris and Singapore, the third place was not, and the fourth was the Swiss Zurich.

Minsk or other Belarusian cities do not appear in the study.
