The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia has carried out a general strike announced in the public sector, demanding a linear increase in salaries by MKD 2,806 and the return of the right to annual leave.

LSM yesterday placed 120 vacant seats in front of the Assembly, wanting to remind MPs to accept the amendment which requires that in the budget rebalance to allocate funds for linear salary increase, while for today they have announced 21 seats in front of the Government, Telegrafi reports. Macedonia.

The strike will be held every day from 10 am to 11 am, so that public sector employees in that period will interrupt the work process and go out and only ten percent of them will work where needed for emergencies.

The union is satisfied with the course of the strike which announced that it will last until the demands are met.

LSM President Darko Dimovski said yesterday that only in one company at the beginning of the strike there was pressure on workers, while he praised some institutions and companies that have already started signing agreements for workers to receive 2806 denars from July 1.

"So, we have such a situation, but at the end of the day at 13:00 our regional secretaries will present reports and wherever there is pressure on workers and strike boards, the same thing will happen as the day before yesterday with MPs, publicly "We will announce those directors and leaders or holders of those positions that put pressure on us not to go on strike," Dimovski said.

The government, on the other hand, is of the opinion that salaries should be increased, but they say that a lasting solution should be found, and not the problems should be solved with ad hoc solutions./Telegrafi/
