New Delhi:

Three officers of the Delhi government have been suspended following the order of Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena.

Among these officers are a deputy secretary and two SDM officers.

These officers are accused that in one case they lapsed in the due process, which shows the possibility of corruption.

It is worth noting that recently Vinay Kumar Saxena has become the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. Let us inform that earlier, the Lieutenant Governor had ordered an ACB inquiry on the complaint of MP Manoj Tiwari about the irregularities in the construction of a year-old hospital.

However, Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had lodged a protest against that decision of the Lieutenant Governor.

Sisodia had said that if there is a complaint of corruption against a public servant, then the investigating agency cannot initiate an investigation in the matter unless the government allows it.

In this case permission was not taken from the elected government.

The Deputy CM of Delhi also said in a press conference on Tuesday that according to the Prevention of Corruption Act, any such complaint has to be decided within 4 months, whereas in this case it has been almost a year since the complaint was filed.
