It has become a tradition for Ganja Mayor Niyazi Bayramov to hold regular meetings with residents.

The mayor meets with the residents in accordance with the relevant instructions of the President and gets acquainted with the issues of concern to them.

Ganja Executive Power told APA that the next such meeting took place at secondary school No. 18.

The meeting was attended by the heads of Nizami and Kapaz Executive Powers Nizami Hajiyev, Eldaniz Khudiyev, heads of departments, enterprises and organizations, as well as residents of the surrounding area.

Before the meeting, fresh flowers were laid in front of the board with pictures of graduates of school No. 18 who died for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Complaints and suggestions of the citizens who came to the reception were heard one by one.

Among the appeals were employment, installation of gas and water meters, housekeeping, renovation of asphalt pavement in some areas of the city and other issues.

At the meeting, residents were told that the issue of asphalting the existing roads in the city is under control.

It was noted that the "Open Communal Infrastructure Program II" project is being implemented in Ganja to upgrade drinking water and sewage lines.

Work on the project is being carried out by Azeraqrartikinti OJSC at the request of Azersu OJSC.

Asphalting of streets and avenues of Ganja city, roads inside the neighborhood and settlement, landscaping works are carried out in parallel with the project.

Thus, it is not considered expedient to carry out asphalt and restoration works in the areas where the project has not been implemented or completed, in order to avoid re-excavation.
