Until March 2023, Russian and Belarusian citizens will not be issued visas to enter the Czech Republic, as well as long-term residence permits.

APA reports that RIA Novosti quoted the Foreign Ministry's press service as saying.

The decision was made by the government on February 24, 2022 at the suggestion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Exceptions may be humanitarian situations.

Thus, the Czech Republic is trying to put pressure on the authorities of the Russian Federation and Belarus to suspend the special operation in Ukraine.
