The Prime Minister of Northern Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski, has announced that Northern Macedonia will take part in the EU Summit for the Western Balkans.

Kovacevski writes on Facebook that together with Edi Rama and Aleksandar Vucic, they have made a decision to confirm that Northern Macedonia, Albania and Serbia have a European future.

"Northern Macedonia has proven friends in EU member states.

These are the countries that look to the future, in contrast to the past, and from which we, Albania, but also the region have full support in fulfilling the strategic objective - EU membership.

"Edi Rama and Aleksandar Vucic and I decided today to reaffirm the position that Northern Macedonia, Albania and Serbia have a European future."

"We decided that before friendly countries, committed to the economic and political progress of the region and committed to the rapid and crucial European integration processes, we must reaffirm our commitment to the European path throughout the Western Balkans.

If the progress of the European integration process is not ensured, it will be a serious problem and a blow to the EU's credibility in the Balkans.

"We will convey our views on this topic together, at the EU summit on the Western Balkans, in a broad forum, at the center of European diplomacy," Kovacevski wrote.

Otherwise, the Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama has confirmed that Albania will participate in the EU Summit for the Western Balkans.

Meanwhile, the media in Bulgaria have published the protocol which must be approved by Northern Macedonia and Bulgaria to resolve the dispute between them./Telegrafi/
