The new head coach of Galatasaray has been appointed.

According to Apasport.az, former football player Okan Buruk will coach Jim-Bom from the 2022/23 season.

The 48-year-old specialist, who is in France for personal reasons, arrived in Istanbul at night.

Buruk, who immediately went to the club's base, met with President Dursun Uzbek to discuss the details of the agreement.

The coach accepted the president's offer of a two-year contract.

He even agreed to work for Galatasaray for a low salary.

The reason why the expert signed a two-year agreement is that Dursun Uzbek was elected president until the summer of 2024.

Okan Buruk has coached 7 different teams in his coaching career.

His last club was Basaksehir.

It should be noted that Galatasaray parted ways with head coach Domenek Torren yesterday.
