The chairman of the Democratic Party of Albania, Sali Berisha said today that "Albania is again ranked on the opposite side of history".

Present at the roundtable "Let's put Albania back on the European Road", Berisha said that during the years of the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama, the achieved standards were dissolved.

"Repeatedly, I thought that this man has no interest in Albania's integration into the EU.

However, this process is a process with great driving force.

But, what attitude did we Albanians have towards this process?

We held a very stern attitude.

"If we refer to the debates in our society and opinions, they are far from the level they should be, in accordance with the vital importance of this process", said the leader of the Democratic Party.

"In these 8 years, not only did the awareness of the citizens not increase for the importance of this process, for the developments in the country that blocked this process, but more was propagated by the government a Europe that has its big problems and that those problems "reflects them to us", said Berisha.

Speaking about the possible boycott of the EU Summit by Rama, Berisha said that "what is happening these days is a repetition of what happened in 1944, in terms of alignment."

"In those years, we lined up on the opposite side of history and now we are lining up again on the opposite side of history.

The Open Balkans, founded in Novi Sad by Vucic, was declared the "Old Yugoslavia + Albania".

In this process, ties were consolidated not only with Belgrade, but also with Moscow.

This process brought a rift and a cold war between Albania and Kosovo.

An adventurer and vassal (Edi Rama) declared yesterday that he refuses the invitation of Brussels.

This decision was taken forward in Belgrade and announced by his master (Vucic).

"We have never had our fate away from our hands than today," Berisha added.
