In fact, Priyanka was going to Jantar Mantar where Congress leaders and workers are standing in protest against the Enforcement Directorate's questioning of Rahul Gandhi in the Agneepath scheme and money laundering case.

According to sources, the party realized that it was unable to register its protest effectively due to the massive detention of activists, so it decided to shift its protest site to Delhi.

Former Union Minister Jairam Ramesh tweeted, "Tomorrow lakhs of Congress workers across the country will continue their peaceful protest against the Agneepath scheme and the Modi government's vendetta politics. In the evening, a delegation of the party will meet the President." The Congress has accused the policemen of misbehaving with its workers during the protest.
