A solemn presentation of the books "Life and work of Nizami Ganjavi", "Eternal memory and eternal shame" and "100 most famous Jews" was held in Rishon Le Zion, Israel.

The event was attended by employees of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora (SCWD), representatives of the city hall, the local community and members of the Azerbaijani Diaspora.

The committee told APA that Deputy Mayor of the city Mikhail Raif and Rector of Ariel University Albert Pinkhasov spoke about the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries. They spoke about the exchange of science and education, and praised the visit of the SCWRA staff to Israel.

During the presentation, detailed information was provided on books published in Hebrew and Russian dedicated to the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi, victims of the Holocaust and famous Jews who emigrated from Azerbaijan to Israel with the support of the SCWRA and the initiative of "AzIz".

The event continued with the presentation of a video report on the activities of the SCWRA.

Welcoming the participants, SCWRA Chairman Fuad Muradov spoke about the country's diaspora policy, the new strategy defined at the V Congress of World Azerbaijanis in Shusha on the recommendations of President Ilham Aliyev, mine clearance and reconstruction in post-war Karabakh. He spoke about the contribution of Azerbaijanis and diaspora organizations.

It was noted that the committee supports the publication of books in different languages, and the presentation of three important books in Rishon Le Zion will play an important role in promoting the cultural heritage and historical realities of the two countries and passing them on to future generations.

Shmuel Simantova, Chief Rabbi of the Mountain Jews Synagogue in Tel Aviv, Alexander Agranovsky, Head of the Jerusalem Branch of the AzIz Israel-Azerbaijan International Association, and Professor Michael Agarun presented awards.

Then a congratulatory letter of "AzIz" to several jubilees was read.

In the artistic part of the event, opera singer Kamelia Ioffe and singer Tarlan Aliyev performed music in Azerbaijani and Hebrew.

SOXNUT was held in the office of the International Jewish Organization in Jerusalem, the head of the Jewish Agency, the Head of the Department of Foreign Relations Coordinator Coh Schwarz and International Relations and the Chairman's Foreign Policy Adviser Yigal Palmor.
