The Regulatory Commission for Energy and Water Services (KRRE) is completing the analysis and next week will determine the blocks for the new tariff system for the universal electricity supplier, announced today the president of KRRE, Marko Bislimoski.

"From now on I can say for sure that the blocks will be added, and specifically how much we will inform during the next week", said Bislimoski when asked by journalists at today's press conference.

He stressed that the block tariffs will apply exclusively to households and will refer to the high daily tariff, ie expensive electricity.

"We do the analysis first of all in the second and third block and especially their limits will be higher than those presented in public hearings," said Bislimoski.

The head of KRRE stressed that due to the abuses committed by small consumers, who have returned from the free market to the regulated market, unplanned expenditures of 33 million euros have been made for additional import of electricity, which as he said it will burden the price the families paid.

"For this reason we are looking for a way to prevent this incorrect behavior of certain companies and municipalities in the country, because it puts serious pressure on the price," said Bislimoski.

It was originally planned that the first block would be consumers consuming up to 210 kilowatt hours of electricity, the second block from 211 to 420, the third block from 421 to 630 and the third block over 630 kilowatt hours of electricity.
