Tomorrow, the next meeting of the chief negotiators from Kosovo and Serbia will be held, confirmed the spokesman of the European Union Peter Stano.

The meeting will be hosted by EU Special Representative for Dialogue Miroslav Lajҫak, while the energy issue will be the focus of discussions on Tuesday.

"Discussions will focus on finalizing a roadmap, which would facilitate the implementation of the 2013 and 2015 energy agreements, and on other current issues, including preparations for the next summit," Stano said in a response. in writing sent to the media.

Since the September crisis in northern Kosovo, the chief negotiators, Besnik Bislimi from Pristina and Petar Petkovic from Belgrade, have met only once, on April 21, when an agreement on the target of vehicles failed.

Dialogue at the level of chief negotiators has taken place several times before and after this moment but without their direct meeting.

Each meeting held in Brussels has since ended with no results.

According to European officials, energy and the issue of missing persons are two topics where the parties have aligned their positions.
