MLA's fiancee made many allegations

Paradip:

The fiancee of Odisha's BJD MLA Bijay Shankar Das has filed a complaint against him as he could not attend his own marriage.

After which the fiancé of the MLA has made many serious allegations against him.

BJD's Tirtol MLA Bijay Shankar Das said on Sunday that he is ready to marry his fiancee in the next 60 days.

The woman has claimed that the MLA's family members were forbidding her to get married, and even tried to threaten her.

Bijay Shankar Das has been booked under various sections of the IPC including 420 (cheating), 195A (intimidation to give false evidence) and 120B (punishment for criminal conspiracy).

In fact, the MLA and his fiancee had applied for the registration of their marriage on May 17, 2022.

The woman reached the registrar's office along with her family members, but the MLA did not reach.

After which the MLA said, "Yes, I am ready to marry her in the next 60 days. A month has passed since I applied for registration of marriage, I still have 60 days. My mother is ill, and I I will do what is necessary."

Along with this, the MLA denied the allegations of cheating and said, 'I never said no to marriage.

In fact, I have announced it to the media and the public.

So the question of cheating does not arise." The woman claimed that she was in a relationship with Das for three years and had promised to marry him on the due date. Sources close to the MLA's family said the late BJD leader And Das, the son of former minister late Vishnu Charan Das, was in a relationship with the woman for a long time, but differences arose between the two and the MLA apparently did not agree to the marriage.
