The doctors came up with interesting results - everything is different overnight!

Morning erections are quite common and recent research has found that men who have regular erections live much longer.

Those with this almost daily occurrence are less likely to be at risk for heart disease or stroke.

During the analysis, experts in Belgium interviewed almost 1,800 men, reports Telegrafi.

Everyone was asked how often they get aroused, while boys who had a very frequent erection in the morning were about 22 percent less likely to die, unlike those for whom this phenomenon was not so common.

Scientists also believe that excitement at night is a sign of good blood circulation, as well as that it reduces the risk of life-threatening diseases.

"Erectile dysfunction and poor morning erection are associated with increased mortality," said lead researcher dr.

Lin Antonio.

Studies show that men can have up to five erections during nighttime sleep.

Early morning arousal can also be the result of increased testosterone levels.

As men grow older, the excitement overnight is less, all due to hormonal changes.

A sudden drop can indicate health problems.

"Losing an erection in the morning is a sign that your arteries are not working properly.

This means that you are at significant risk of heart attack or stroke within three to five years.

This also applies to unmarried men, not just those who have a partner.

Gag Hackett.
