Due to water logging in Aligarh, a policeman and his wife who fell in the drain have suffered injuries.

New Delhi:

A policeman and his wife were injured when a scooter fell into a drain filled with rain water in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh.

The constable was going to a hospital in Aligarh with his wife sitting in the back seat.

In the video of the place where the accident took place, a policeman driving a scooter is seen searching the road amid rain water.

During this, the front wheel of the vehicle collides with something and both of them along with the scooter fall inside the drain.

As soon as the police personnel and his wife fall into the drain, people are immediately seen running to save them.

Police personnel Dayanand Singh said that "we were on a scooter and were going to a hospital. Since the drain was open and it was flooded due to rain water, we did not know about it, due to which we fell into it along with the scooter." Gone. We both got some injuries."

It is said that the sewer lines are open and choked at the incident site.
