When it comes to social networking segments, Facebook and TikTok are often the target of comparisons.

However, despite Facebook investing a lot of money to have features and offers similar to those of rival platforms, TikTok says they do not intend to become like Facebook.

Blake Chandley from TikTok, has emphasized that the differences are very clear between these two companies, Telegrafi reports.

"Facebook is a social network.

They have created their own algorithms based on social image.

This is their main competence.

But not ours.

We are a platform for entertainment.

"The difference is huge," Chandley added.

Chandley is competent to talk about this issue, for the fact that he has been one of the key figures on Facebook for 12 years.

He believes that the experience on Facebook (especially in the fight against rival Google+), has led him to believe that TikTok will win in the current fight between the two platforms.
