The Presidential Coalition "Together" lost its majority in the French National Assembly after Sunday's election.

This follows from the preliminary result of the vote count, published by Le Figaro.

Supporters of Emmanuel Macron will have at least 205 and no more than 235 seats, and for the majority had to get 289 seats.

The coalition of left-wing parties led by Jean-Luc Melenchon is in second place with 170-190 seats.

Third place went to the Marie Le Pen National Association.

It gets 75 to 95 seats.

This is ten times more than they had before the election.

And this is the best result in their history - previously the best for them was the 1986 election, when they won 35 seats.
