Recently, the Central Government had announced the Agneepath scheme regarding recruitment in the army.

Since the announcement of this scheme, youth all over the country have taken to the streets and demonstrated.

Violent demonstrations also took place in many states of the country including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh.

Amidst protests against this plan across the country, many organizations have now announced a Bharat Bandh on June 20.

After the announcement of Bharat Bandh, the police of the states have started strengthening their security system.

In Haryana, there were violent demonstrations in many districts regarding this movement in the past.

In such a situation, in order to avoid any untoward incident during Bharat Bandh, the Faridabad Police has started beefing up its security system. 

Faridabad Police Spokesperson Sube Singh issued a statement saying that we have made all kinds of preparations regarding Bharat Bandh.

We will ensure that there is no incident of any kind in the city during the bandh.

At the same time, we request the general public not to spread any kind of rumor regarding Agneepath scheme.

He said that we have put up blocks at different places in the city and all the ACPs have been given special instructions to maintain law and order during the bandh. 

Like Faridabad, Kerala Police has also strengthened its preparations for the Bharat Bandh.

Kerala Police has said that all their jawans will be on duty on June 20.

During this, if anyone tries to spread any kind of violence, then we will arrest him.

State Police Chief Anil Kant has also issued guidelines for his soldiers.

In which it has been mentioned that during the Bharat Bandh, how the Kerala Police will deal with the violence and the protesters.

The police chief has spoken of giving special protection to courts, KSEB offices, KSRTC, private buses as well as government offices and institutions during the Bharat Bandh.

In Jharkhand too, it has been decided to close all schools and some institutions in view of the Bharat Bandh.

Jharkhand Education Secretary Rajesh Sharma said that the decision to close the schools has been taken in view of the Bharat Bandh.

At the same time, Punjab Police has also made special preparations regarding India.

Punjab's ADGP, Law and Order has given special instructions to all CPs and SSPs to maintain law and order during Bharat Bandh.

He said in a tweet that we are also keeping an eye on those who spread wrong information from social media.
