Preliminary results of the second round of parliamentary elections in France have been announced

APA reports quoting Le Monde that Ipsos-Sopra Steria conducted an exit poll commissioned by well-known media outlets.

According to the poll, President Emmanuel Macron's party won 224 seats, but did not win an absolute majority.

In the second round of elections, the left became the second political force in parliament and the main opposition.

The far-right National Front party also won a record number of seats - 89 deputies.
