Ukrainian soldiers reportedly shot down a large Russian helicopter.

The helicopter is said to be a Mil Mi-24, which crashed after an artillery attack.

The footage of the moment was published by the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, writes the bag.

"In the Donetsk region, Ukrainian territorial defense fighters shot down a Russian Mi-35M military helicopter," the statement said.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24 in what the Kremlin calls a "special military operation" to "liberate Donbas."

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between February 24 and June 17, Russia lost about 32,950 soldiers, 1,449 tanks, 3,545 armored combat vehicles, 729 artillery, 233 multiple launch missile systems, 97 air defense systems, 213 fighter jets, 179 helicopters, 591 tactical drones, 129 cruise missiles, 13 warships, 2494 motor vehicles and fuel tanks and 55 special equipment.
