Tonight, the opposition OBRM-PDUKM will hold a so-called protest for changes in Skopje, through which it will again submit the request for holding early parliamentary elections.

The protest is announced to start at 20:00 in front of the Government building.

The opposition party has long insisted on holding elections and is actively blocking activities in the Assembly.

The decision to protest was taken by the Executive Committee of OBRM-PDUKM on the 17th of last month, criticizing the government for its inability to cope with the economic and financial crisis accompanied by rising prices and high inflation, rising public debt, inefficient and irresponsible diplomacy for the official start of EU membership talks.

Party leader Hristijan Mickoski yesterday in a video speech on the occasion of the party's birthday said that they mark it as a sign of change.

"We are sending a message of unity against bad government and a government that is making the lives of thousands of people worse," Mickoski said.

Recall that a day later, on Sunday, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski convened a meeting of partners of the ruling coalition to unify the view that there will be no early elections, despite the insistence of OBRM-PDUKM.
