The $ 325 million super yacht, which is said to be owned by one of Russian President Vladimir Putin's oligarchs, arrived in Hawaii after being seized by the FBI in Fiji.

Amadea arrived in Hawaii on Thursday after the United States won a legal battle in Fiji last week to capture a ship and immediately set off to avoid further court battles.

The FBI has linked Amadeo to Russian oligarch Suleiman Kerimov.

The United States announced that Kerimov bought the ship secretly under the Cayman Islands flag last year through various fictitious companies.

He became the target of the Klepto Kepchur task force, launched in March to seize the properties of Russian oligarchs, all with the aim of putting pressure on Russia to end the war in Ukraine.

The US government says the luxe ship, which is nearly the length of a football field, is owned by sanctioned gold mining billionaire Suleiman Kerimov.

An even larger yacht called the Scheherazade, believed to be owned by Vladimir Putin, was blocked from leaving an Italian shipyard last month as part of a similar seizure program.

The FBI said a search warrant in Fiji found emails indicating that Kerim's children were on board this year and that the crew used code names - G0 for Kerimov, G1 for his wife, G2 for his daughter and so on. .

The boat is as long as a football field, has a lobster aquarium, a hand-painted piano, a swimming pool and a large heliport.

The United States has said Kerimov is the real owner of Amadeo, but much of the evidence in the April 13 seizure warrant has been edited into a public release.
