  • Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Kerala appeal to the Center

  • Said- youth do not want this scheme

  • Referring to the demonstrations happening in the country

New Delhi:

Regarding the Agneepath scheme, the Rajasthan government has appealed to the Center to withdraw this scheme.

The Rajasthan government has said so by passing a resolution.

Before the resolution of this proposal, a meeting was held at the Chief Minister's residence under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

In this meeting, concern was also expressed over the protest against the Agneepath scheme by the youth of the country.

However, the leaders involved in the meeting have also appealed to the youth not to indulge in violence during the protest against this scheme.

A statement was issued after the meeting held at the residence of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

In which it was told that during the meeting, the history of the Indian Army and their pride saga were discussed.

It was said in the meeting that the Indian Army is the bravest army in the world, which is known for its indomitable courage.

In such a situation, implementing this scheme for recruitment in it will spoil the image of the army.

Let us tell you that Rajasthan is not the only state to oppose this scheme.

Apart from Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Kerala have also demanded to withdraw this scheme.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin said on Saturday that there is anger among the youth due to this decision of the government.

In such a situation, the central government should definitely reconsider its decision.

He said that many ex-servicemen are also opposing this plan.

He believes that the army job should not be like a part time job.

If this happens then it will be dangerous for the discipline of the army.

MK Stalin appealed to the central government to withdraw this scheme.

He said that keeping in mind the interests of the nation, I ask the Center to withdraw the scheme.

The youth is not happy with this scheme.

In such a situation, it would not be right to implement this scheme.

At the same time, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has also opposed this plan.

He said on Saturday that the government should put this scheme on hold for the time being.

Addressing PM Modi in a tweet, he said that the way protests are taking place against this scheme in the whole country, it in itself proves that the youth is not happy with this scheme anywhere.

In such a situation, I request PM Modi to put this plan on hold for the time being.
