Julian Assange's family members have vowed to fight the UK decision to extradite him to the US.

According to foreign media, the Telegraph reports, on Friday, the UK government ordered the extradition of the WikiLeaks founder to the US to face espionage charges.

He has 14 days to appeal.

"If he is extradited to the United States, the conditions under which he will be (Assange) will be so oppressive," Gabriel Shipton, Assange's brother, told a news conference on Friday.

"This will push him to commit suicide."

The Home Office said in a statement that "UK courts have not found that it would be oppressive, unfair or an abuse of the process to extradite Assange.

"They have not even found that extradition would be incompatible with his human rights, including his right to a fair trial and freedom of expression, and that while in the US he would be treated properly, including in relation to his health ”.
