There are several Twitter and Facebook profiles of the police, on which provocative posts were shared.

New Delhi:

Delhi Police was getting complaints about sharing hate posts on social media from different Twitter handles etc.

On the basis of which Delhi Police has registered 19 FIRs under sections including 153A/505/295A/506/509 IPC.

In one such case, the police arrested Nawab Satpal Tanwar, who claims to be the head of the Bhim Army. 

According to the police, he has several Twitter and Facebook profiles on which provocative posts were shared.

In which there was talk of giving a reward of 1 crore for biting Nupur Sharma's tongue.

Due to which now the police has arrested him. 

According to the police, Satpal Tanwar is the president of Bhim Army.

The allegation was posted after the controversial remarks made by Nupur Sharma on Prophet Mohammad.

After registering a case, the police arrested Satpal from Gurugram and sent him to jail in judicial custody. 

At the same time, advisory is being issued by Delhi Police to all those people who are trying to misuse social media to spread hatred.

According to the police, strict action will be taken against such people.
