The UK's Paras Battalion is banned from serving abroad this summer after soldiers filmed a sex orgy and distributed it throughout the British Army.

Members of "3 Money" have recorded a video having sex with a woman in the Merville barracks in Colchester.

The Chief of General Staff, General Sir Patrick Sanders, decided today that "3 Money" will not join a NATO operation in Kosovo, which is scheduled to take place during the summer, reports

The letter to the Parachute Regiment states that the decision was "based on recent disciplinary incidents".

"3 MONEY admits that they have temporarily lost the trust of CGS", wrote in the letter, Telegrafi reports.

A Royal Military Police investigation, launched to determine how the woman entered the barracks, ruled that no law had been violated.

A former soldier told the Mirror that “this means that more troops will be sent to Kosovo.

"This is happening when there is a war in Europe. It is wild."

An army spokesman said: "All forms of unacceptable behavior, including those of a sexual nature, have no place in a comprehensive and respectful Armed Forces."

Otherwise, the annual deployment in the Balkans is for a 10-day exercise with NATO allies, although the troops normally stay for more than a month.

More than 400 paratroopers travel to both Bosnia and Kosovo and will lose a medal and extra charge they typically receive for deployment abroad.
