BJP leader's taunt on Aaditya Thackeray's Ayodhya visit (file photo)

New Delhi:

BJP MLA Nitesh Rane has

targeted

Maharashtra minister Aditya Thackeray for visiting Ram temple in

Ayodhya

.

He took a dig at the young minister, using the Hindi proverb without taking his name, that after committing a hundred sins, the cat went to Ayodhya to meow.

Aaditya Thackeray's visit to Ayodhya is also important because he will be on this journey alone and Shiv Sena presents him as its future leader.

His grandfather Bal Thackeray was a symbol of Hindutva.

Earlier, Aditya had gone to Ayodhya with his father and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

Aaditya Thackeray will offer prayers at the Ram temple in Ayodhya at 5.30 pm that day.

Later he will also perform Saryu Aarti in the evening, after which he will return to Mumbai from Lucknow.

Thackeray will also visit Hanuman Garhi Temple and Laxman Fort in Ayodhya.

Rane's tweet has come at a time when there is a tussle between the BJP and Thackeray's party Shiv Sena as to whose ideology is related to Hindutva.

By the way, both the parties are also trying to surround each other with allegations of corruption and irregularities.

On the allegations of BJP moving away from Hindutva, Shiv Sena says that BJP's Hindutva is fake.

By the way, Aditya Thackeray's Ayodhya visit is being projected as Shiv Sena's commitment to Hindutva ideology.

The relations between the two parties have deteriorated after the Shiv Sena broke away from the BJP and joined hands with the Nationalist Congress Party and the Congress.

Recently, the leaders of both the parties were seen making public attacks on each other over the controversy over Hanuman Chalisa.
