Under the leadership of the District Prosecutor's Office in Haskovo, an investigation is underway into a 10-year-old child bitten by a dog on the land of the Haskovo village of Vaglarovo.

This was announced by the press center of the Appellate Prosecutor's Office in Plovdiv.

They explain that the accident happened on June 14, and the child was inflicted with moderate bodily injury, which is in a condition that is temporarily life-threatening.

The signal for the incident was submitted by a 67-year-old woman from Haskovo.

So far, it has been established that a 51-year-old man raised an Asian wolfhound at his home in Vaglar's dog.

He kept it chained.

On the unfortunate day, around 3:40 p.m., the dog broke the chain and left the property.

At that time, there were two children near the pens for raising animals.

One of them, a 10-year-old boy, was attacked by a dog.

The animal caused injuries to the child from bites on the body.

"Injuries have been established in the area of ​​the child's liver and kidneys," the Haskovo police press center said, adding that the boy had been transported to a hospital in Plovdiv, with temporary danger to his life.

It has been established that the dog is registered in accordance with the established procedure.

It was brought to the municipal shelter in Haskovo.

Under the leadership of the District Prosecutor's Office in the city, active actions are being taken to collect evidence.
