The ceiling in the "Lulja e Majit" garden in Skopje fell as if it were a paper tower because it had technical defects in construction.

This was also confirmed by the mayor of Karposh after the expertise of the facility, which is only three years old.

It was concluded that the construction was for the wall and not for the ceiling and for this Stevco Jakimovski will require additional expertise and opinion from experts.

"Placing plasterboard on the ceiling has its own system, but the water was heavy in a very small part, which contributed to the collapse of the entire ceiling like a paper tower.

"I am afraid that the entire ceiling of this garden in 2019 could be demolished", said Stevco Jakimovski, mayor of Karposh.

But who designed it, who built it, and who will be responsible for demolishing the garden ceiling?

The President of the Macedonian Association for Protection and Health at Work says that someone has signed that the building is safe and if such an incident occurs on this basis, then here is where the Chamber of Architects went to the field.

"These are the moments when we have to raise the red flag near our authorities and urgently make checks in all kindergartens.

Considering this as a tragedy, to think that if this happened in a building that is three years old, then what is the situation in other buildings built now or even earlier? ”, Says Milan Petkovski, President of AMMSHP -së.

The opposition OBRM-PDUKM also reacted to the fall of the ceiling, accusing that three years ago many then ministers took pictures in the building, showing it as safe for children, while today it was shown that the building can to bring about fatality due to insecurity.

In order for hundreds of children to return to the playgrounds by September, Jakimovski warned he would seek changes to the municipal budget for the urgent rehabilitation of the kindergarten.
