Another mass grave with the bodies of Ukrainian civilians has been discovered in Bucha near Kiev, Kiev police commander Andri Nebitov has announced.

Seven bodies were found in the new mass grave near Bucha, where after the withdrawal of Russian troops from the Kiev region in early March, many bodies of killed civilians were found, Telegrafi reports.

"The Russians tortured seven civilians, then insidiously shot them in the head," the police commander wrote on Facebook, adding that some of the victims had had their hands and knees.

He noted that the mass grave was discovered in a part where Russian forces were stationed - near the village of Mirotska, 10 kilometers northwest of Bucha and 35 from Kiev.

Authorities are now working to identify the bodies.

According to Ukrainian authorities, 1,314 bodies of civilians killed by Russian forces in the Kiev region have been found since June 3.

After the withdrawal of Russian soldiers from the Kiev region, where the bodies of hundreds of Ukrainian civilians were discovered, Bucha is the best evidence of war crimes by the Russians.
