Zelensky noted that on June 12, the list of children killed during the war increased by 24 names to 287 people.

“Tell me why this is all happening in 2022?

This is not the 1940s.

How could mass killings, torture, burned cities, filtration camps committed by the Russian military in the occupied territories, reminiscent of Nazi concentration camps, become a reality!

And at the same time Russia hopes that it will not be responsible for all this evil, for all these barbaric attacks on homes, hospitals, churches.

Russia still has enough power to hope to continue the war against Ukraine, against the people, to continue to ignore the reaction of the world, "- said Zelensky.

He called for redoubled efforts to help Ukraine put an end to "Russian hatred - hatred of humanity."

"Hatred is the driving force behind the Russian war against Ukraine and against freedom ... Hatred for the Ukrainian, for the culture and history of Ukraine," - added Vladimir Zelensky.

The Ukrainian leader also called on the participants of the American Jewish Committee Global Forum to defend the need to strengthen sanctions against Russia and help speed up arms supplies to Ukraine so that it can liberate the occupied territories.

“We need powerful offensive weapons, without which the war will only drag on and the casualties will increase.

I know that your help is already essential.

But you can use your influence even more, because we have a historic opportunity to protect our common freedom, security, cultural diversity from the greatest wave of hatred of all that has threatened the world in recent decades.

Let's end this war, defeat Russian hatred in the name of children who were killed by the blows of the Russian army and for the future of millions of children, "- said Zelensky.
