According to official data, Macron's supporters have 25.75% of the vote, while the left has 25.66%.

In third place is the far-right National Union of Marine Le Pen, with less than 20 percent.

The result of the center-right is even lower.

The left claims that the official results do not include about 200,000 votes cast for their candidates in a number of constituencies, allegedly because of media headlines that Macron's supporters are in the first place.

We are not talking about accusations of falsifications, but that the votes for these candidates were counted separately from the NUPES bloc.

Authorities deny allegations of manipulation.

The outcome of the election will be decided in the second round in a week.

The second round was won by candidates who received more than 12.5 percent of the vote in their constituencies.

The result of Macron's supporters allows them to hope for a majority in parliament, as in the second round voters tend to support the centrists rather than the very right or left.

However, according to opinion polls, an absolute majority of supporters of the president is not guaranteed.

NUPES claims second place, Le Pen supporters can win 5 to 25 seats.

Emanuel Macron was recently re-elected president for a new term.

If his supporters lose his parliamentary majority, it will be harder for him to pursue his political goals;

it will probably be a matter of forming a coalition government with the participation of the left.
