The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama is expected to visit Ukraine together with the Prime Ministers of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovi dhe and the Prime Minister of Northern Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski at the invitation of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The news was made public by the Montenegrin newspaper "Vijesti" where it was confirmed that Rama and Kovaceski have accepted the idea of ​​Prime Minister Abazovic to go to Ukraine, in order to "send a stronger and united message from the Western Balkans."

It only remains for the three leaders to agree on a date for the visit.

In a conversation with Zelenski, Abazovic stressed that Montenegro has offered open support for Ukraine's independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty from the beginning.

"He stressed that the European values ​​of freedom and the right to choose one are protected today outside the borders of the European Union and that Montenegro fully supports the European Union's position on the Russian occupation of Ukraine," the statement said.

After the start of the war, Kiev and other Ukrainian cities have been visited by various world leaders to express support in the fight against Russia.
