With the proposal of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, has decreed seven prosecutors today.

According to the Presidency, these prosecutors have been decreed with an initial mandate of three years, and will be placed in the Basic Prosecution Offices in Prishtina, Peja, Gjakova and Ferizaj.

In the swearing-in ceremony before the President of the country, the new Prosecutors have sworn that "they will remain faithful to the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, the laws in force and will respect the rules of professional ethics", it is said in the announcement.

Meanwhile, President Osmani stressed that the rule of law is a precondition for the functioning of the state and society, calling on young prosecutors to be uncompromising in their work against crime and corruption.

At the same time, the President stressed that the integrity and professionalism of prosecutors are essential elements for a justice system that guarantees equality for all and civic trust.
