Addressing a program of Jat community in Jaipur, Malik said, "If the law of Minimum Support Price (MSP) is not made, then there will be a terrible fight with the farmers' government in the country.

With this, he said that the dharna is over, the movement is not over….

"I have only four months left (in the post of governor)... I will leave and jump into the same (farmer's movement regarding MSP)," he said, targeting select people in the corporate world. Said, "Prime Minister should tell something about how these goods are being done, while people are being wasted."

"The dharna is over, the farmers' movement is not over.... If the Minimum Support Price (MSP) law is not enacted, there will be a terrible fight with the farmers' government in the country," he said.

The Governor of Meghalaya said, "When the farmers were agitating, he went to the Prime Minister and he had said that "Look sir, a lot of violence is happening with them (farmers)."

Malik said that he suggested to the Prime Minister to settle them by taking something, then he (Prime Minister) said that they will go away… why worry… I said, sir, you do not know them… they will go then. When you (Prime Minister) will be gone."

Targeting the Adani company, he said that the Prime Minister should tell something, how they are becoming rich, while people are getting wasted.

He also said that don't give any respect to them (corporate people)... Call them Seth as well and this class will not stop till they are not attacked... we will keep going down, they will keep going up.
