25 FIRs registered so far in Ranchi violence

Violence erupted after Friday prayers in Ranchi, Jharkhand over BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma's remarks on Prophet Muhammad.

Two people were killed and many were injured in the violence that took place during the protests on Friday.

Now the Union Home Ministry has sought a report from the Governor of Jharkhand in the Ranchi violence case.

The Governor has asked Director General of Police Neeraj Sinha to give a detailed report on all aspects of the incident. 

After the violence in Ranchi on Friday, the situation is slowly returning to normal.

So far, 25 FIRs have been registered, in which 29 people have been named.

At the same time, a case has been registered against more than twelve thousand unknown people.

In this case, the police has arrested one person and interrogation of many people is going on based on the footage.

Prohibitory orders under Section 144 have been lifted from six police station areas of the city.

Whereas it will still be affected in the areas under six police stations.

In the main road of the city, from one o'clock in the afternoon to five o'clock, all the shops will be open for four hours.

Which 25 FIRs were registered in different 5 police stations of the city.

In this, six FIRs have been lodged by the police, two by the CO and 17 by the common people.

Protesters in Ranchi were demanding the arrest of Nupur Sharma and expelled BJP leader Naveen Jindal for their controversial remarks on Prophet Muhammad.

At that time suddenly the demonstration turned violent.
