A person who deceived citizens by presenting himself as an employee of Azersu OJSC appeared in the 27th block of Khirdalan city of Absheron region.

Azersu OJSC told APA that the person, who introduced himself as Vusal, demanded money from a subscriber living at 1 Nasiba Zeynalova Street in exchange for cancellation of receivables and replacement of water meter.

The person told the subscriber that if he pays 80 manat, the water meter will be replaced with a new one and the debt will be completely zero.

In this regard, the subscriber appealed to the Absheron Sukanal Department and provided images of a person named Vusal.

The Absheron Sukanal Department will appeal to law enforcement agencies in connection with the fact.

Azersu OJSC once again informs its subscribers that in case of such cases, first of all, they should demand a license from these people and never pay them in cash.

Citizens are advised to immediately inform the 955 Call Center.

Consumers are informed that meters for residential customers are installed at public expense and replaced with new ones when they are not in working condition.

Replacement of the meter does not affect the write-off or reduction of receivables.

Subscribers are asked to pay for the use of drinking and wastewater services via the Internet (azersu.az, e-su.az portal, various payment sites), banks, post offices, as well as payment terminals.
