On June 13, the State Service for Control of Small Vessels and Water Rescue (Service) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Emergency Situations in preparation for the beach season.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA that the main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the relevant security measures taken by the State Service for Small Vessels and Water Rescue in connection with the upcoming beach season and the upcoming tasks.

Chairman of the Public Council Fuad Hajizadeh and other members of the council, Deputy Chief of the Main Department for Work with Regional Centers, Project Management and Education of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Gunduz Hamzayev, Head of the Public Relations Department Parviz Jafarov, Deputy Chief of the State Service for Small Vessels and Water Rescue Service Colonel Seymur Garashov and Service employees were present.

Representatives of the Service were informed about the work done in preparation for the beach season.

It was noted that monitoring has been held in the coastal areas since April with the participation of representatives of relevant agencies.

During the monitoring, unusable and dangerous areas for the beach were identified.

As a result of the monitoring, working meetings were held in local executive authorities with the participation of representatives of relevant agencies to address the identified shortcomings and deficiencies, and relevant instructions were given.

In addition, divers conducted on-site inspections of beaches controlled by the Service, including public beaches established in Garadagh, Sabail, Khazar, Sabunchu and Binagadi districts of Baku at the initiative of IDEA Public Union. cleaned.

The technical condition of the rescue equipment and facilities on the balance of the service, as well as the equipment used in diving and search operations was reviewed.

Currently, the work on the installation of signs defining the boundaries of swimming on the beaches controlled by the Service and special boards to educate citizens resting in the area on safety rules is nearing completion.

Highly appreciating the work done by the service to prepare for the beach season, members of the Public Council spoke about the importance of working with relevant agencies to address the shortcomings and deficiencies identified as a result of monitoring conducted in coastal areas.

During the meeting, which was held in an atmosphere of mutual exchange of views, members of the Public Council expressed their views and suggestions on the issue.

It was also decided to involve members of the Public Council in future monitoring during the beach season.
