About 50 judges have been disciplined for corruption offenses, 10 have had their powers terminated prematurely, and 13 have been fired.
APA reports that this was stated at a meeting of the Judicial Legal Council.
It was noted that three judges were disciplined for corruption, procrastination and other violations that caused legitimate dissatisfaction of citizens, and a decision was made to terminate the powers of one judge for gross and systematic violations of the law.
In addition, new disciplinary proceedings have been instituted against two judges for gross violations of the law.
