Latvian authorities have banned Russian pop singer Oleg Gazmanova from using an apartment in Jurmala.

APA reports that the artist said this on NTV's "Secret of a Million" program.

He said he has been on the blacklist since 2014.

According to Gazmanov, the Latvian government has decided not to sell real estate related to him.

At the same time, the singer was banned from engaging in any commercial activities in the European Union.

"In fact, I was deprived of my property," Gazmanov said.
