A total of three terrorists have been killed in an encounter by security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama.

The encounter took place in Drabgam area of ​​Pulwama.

The officials have given information about this on Sunday.

Officials said that the three terrorists killed are local and all of them were linked to the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Along with this, weapons have also been recovered from them. 

Jammu and Kashmir Police tweeted, "Pulwama encounter update: 02 more terrorists killed (3 in total). Identity and links are being ascertained. Incriminating material including arms and ammunition recovered. Search continues."

The authorities have identified one terrorist as Junaid Shirgojri. 

Kashmir's Inspector General of Police (IGP) said, "All three were killed. The terrorists are locals, who were associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba. One of them has been identified as Junaid Shirgojri, our colleague Shaheed Riyaz on May 13." was involved in the murder of Ahmed."

Earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir Police had killed a terrorist in an encounter in Drabgam area of ​​Pulwama.

The encounter started at around 6.55 pm and the Kashmir Zone Police gave information about it in a tweet.
