It is never enough to talk and tell about the sacrifice of the Jashari family.

The Battle of 5.6 on March 7, 1998 in Prekaz, was the last beginning for Serbia in Kosovo.

And who better and more authentically than Besarta Jashari, the daughter of the hero Hamëz Jashari, can confess that time.

The only survivor in this battle, at that time a child, Besarta now tells RTK, in honor of Liberation Day, what she experienced.

"We woke up early in the morning on March 5 from the noise of tanks", says Besarta Jashari "The fighting did not stop until March 7"

Besarta Jashari shows that the fight with the Serbian forces and her family did not stop, until Hamzë Jashari, Adem Jashari, Shaban Jashari and all the other sons and family members started to be killed in this battle.

"Serbs started firing in tanks towards this room, where most were killed here," said Besarta, a family's self-denial of freedom.

She says there are many difficult moments she experienced in those three days of battle, but one singles her out.

"The most difficult moment was when I left Blerina, my little sister, and I could not save her," she confessed.
