WhatsApp has reportedly started launching a new feature that allows users to add up to 512 members to a chat group.

This feature was announced by Meta last month.

According to foreign media, the Telegraph reports, the messaging platform is also bringing a host of new features, including increasing the file size limit to 2 GB and emoji responses to messages.

WhatsApp is also said to be adding an option to change the messages once they are sent.

A recent report from WABInfo showed that the feature to increase group membership will be launched to all users of the latest stable WhatsApp update.

The feature has been widely launched, but some users may have to wait up to 24 hours before they can see the feature on their WhatsApp.

The feature was announced by Meta in early May.
